Aylostera kupperiana
A miniature cactus with a cylindrical stem up to 3 cm in diameter; 13–15 radial spines, white, up to 5 mm long; 1–3 central spines, dark brown, up to 1.2 cm long. Flowers fiery red, about 4 cm in diameter.
