Family Iridaceae. Occurs: On grassy slopes in the Cape Province of South Africa.
Stem 45-60 cm tall. Basal leaves 4, they are linear, pointed, spirally twisted, up to 30 cm long and 1 cm wide. The inflorescence is branched, of 6 flowers. Bracts pointed, herbaceous, except for the upper part. The perianth pink, up to 9 cm long; lobes oblong-pointed, up to 3.5 cm long; the lower perianth lobe is drooping, the upper ones directed straight forward.
