Grape Izyuminka (Vitis vinifera L.) – a hybrid table grape form of very early ripening, from budburst to full ripeness 100-110 days. Ripens August 3-6 (under conditions of Novocherkassk).

It is a vigorous shrub. Cane ripening is good. Cropping coefficient 0.9-1.2.

The flower is functionally female. It is well pollinated.

Clusters medium, medium density, weighing 450-500 g. Berry elongated, size 33.5 x 16.7 mm, large, average weight 7.4 g. Berry color dark pink. Flesh fleshy, firm, skin edible. Taste harmonious, sugar content 16-18 %, acidity 4-5 g/dm3. Taste rating of fresh grapes 8.1-8.4 points.

Frost hardiness: -22°C

Site: not demanding regarding soil, but grows better on light, sufficiently moist, well-warmed and well-drained soil.

Planting and care: similar to those for cultivated grape.

Training: two-plane trellis.

Pruning: Bud load of the plant up to 30-35 buds. Shoot load 22-24 with a feeding area of 4-6 sq. m. Prune fruiting canes to 8-10 or to 3-4 buds.

Diseases and pests: slightly resistant to fungal diseases.

Propagation: cuttings root very well. Compatible with rootstocks SO4, 41B, Monticola. However, rootstocks that restrain vigorous scion growth are recommended: Chasselas x Berlandieri 41B, SO4, etc.

Use: a highly profitable cultivar. Distinguished by high and stable yields, large attractive clusters, large berries, and high disease resistance. Stores well in a refrigerator.
