Grape «Venechny» – a hybrid form of table grape of mid-season ripening; from budburst to full ripening takes 140-145 days. Ripens in late September.

Bush of medium vigor. Grafted bushes exhibit greater vigor than own-rooted ones. Shoot ripening is good. Most shoots are fruitful. In the first years after planting it grows rather slowly, then the growth rate increases. Flower hermaphroditic, pollination very good.

Cluster large, weighing 400-500 (450-600) g, conical in shape, medium compactness. Berries large, weighing 6-8 g, size 32x22 mm, elongated, slightly nipple-shaped. Skin not thick, not noticeable when eating, white in color, in the sun may acquire a yellowish-milky or amber color. Flesh juicy, meaty, with a pleasant muscat taste and aroma. A distinctive feature of the variety is the presence of floral tones in the aroma and taste. Muscat tones appear even before full ripening. Millerandage is not observed. Rarely affected by wasps. Does not crack. Sugar accumulation good. Does not keep long on the vine. Yield medium.

Frost hardiness zone: -23°C

Location: not demanding to soil, but grows better on light, sufficiently moist, well-warmed and well-drained soil.

Planting and care: similar to those for cultivated grape.

Pruning: it is recommended to use long-arm pruning, leaving 10-12 buds and forming a large reserve of old wood.

Diseases and pests: Resistance to downy mildew – 3.5 points.

Propagation: cuttings root very well. Compatibility with rootstocks good.

Use: Yield is not high. The variety is suitable for amateur cultivation, as the clusters are not marketable in appearance, storage life is short and transportability low. Distinguished by increased frost hardiness, high disease resistance, and an unusual taste and aroma.
