Vitis vinifera L.
Origin: Talisman × Kishmish Luchistyi. Obtained by V.N. Kraynov, amateur selection, Russia
Grape «Bogatyansky» – a hybrid form of table grape of early–mid ripening period; from budburst to full ripening it takes 120-125 (135-145) days. Ripens at the end of August.

Vine vigorous. Shoot ripening is good. Percentage of fruiting shoots 75-90%. Number of clusters per fruiting shoot 1.4-1.8. Shoots mostly bear 2-3 inflorescences. Flower hermaphrodite, pollination good.

Clusters very large, 800-1500 (2500) g, conical or blunt-conical in shape, medium density. Berries very large, weighing 15-20 g, size 35-28 mm, ovoid in shape, yellow-green, becoming golden-yellow when fully ripe. Skin fairly thick, but practically not felt when eaten. Flesh meaty, juicy, somewhat watery. Taste harmonious. Berry splitting not observed. Practically not damaged by wasps. High-yielding variety. Transportability and marketable qualities are high.

Sugar content 17-19%, with acidity 7-8 g/l.
Frost hardiness zone: -23°C
Site: Not demanding on soil, but grows better on light, sufficiently moist, well-warmed and well-drained ground.
Planting and care: similar to that for cultivated grape.
Pruning: Load the plant up to 35-45 buds. Prune fruiting canes to 8-10 buds.
Diseases and pests: Resistance to downy mildew – 3.0 points, to powdery mildew – 3.2 points, resistance to gray rot high.
Propagation: Cuttings root very well. Compatibility with rootstocks is good.
Use: Characterized by high and stable yields, large attractive clusters, large berries, and high disease resistance. Recommended for cultivation in home gardens.
