Grape 'Pharaoh'

Origin: Podarok Zaporozh'yu × Strashensky. Obtained by E.G. Pavlovsky, amateur selection, Russia
Grape «Pharaoh»– Ripening period: early to mid-season. Ripens in late August - the first decade of September.
Vines are vigorous. Ripening of one-year shoots is good. Flower hermaphroditic. Pollination good.

Clusters large, 700-1000 (up to 2000) g, attractive, broad-conical in shape, medium density to dense, well-filled. Berries rounded, dark purple to almost black, weighing 10-15 g and more, covered with a waxy bloom. Flesh juicy, of a simple harmonious taste. Skin edible. Berries do not crack. Not prone to millerandage. Good transportability. High yield.
Winter hardiness zone: -24°C
Site: Not demanding of soil, but performs better on light, sufficiently moist, well-warmed and well-drained soil.
Planting and care: Same as for cultivated grape varieties.
Pruning: Moderate pruning.
Forming (training): Four-arm fan-shaped training.
Diseases and pests: Resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew – 3.0 points.
Propagation: Cuttings root well.
Use: A good commercial variety. Notable for large attractive clusters, large berries, and high disease resistance.
