Blue Vanda - Vanda coerulea - a plant with an erect stem up to 1 m long and a large number of aerial roots. Leaves are arranged in two rows, strap-shaped, about 20 cm long and about 2.5–3 cm wide. Flowers about 10 cm in diameter are grouped in many-flowered erect inflorescences. Flower color is predominantly lavender, gradually changing to blue. Petals are broadly ovate, narrowed toward the base, widely open, with a darker lip. Flowering in autumn.
