Family: Caprifoliaceae. Eastern part of North America. In moist shrub thickets.

Shrub up to 4 m tall. At 10 years height 2.5 m, crown diameter 200 cm. Growing season from early May to mid-October. Blooms from 5 years, not every year. Fruits ripen by early September. Partially frost-damaged in winter. Seed viability 70%, germination 15%. Summer cuttings root 100%.
