Location of Thunbergia: in a sunny warm place, preferably sheltered from the wind. South and southwest exposures are most desirable.

Pests, diseases: aphids, spider mites, whiteflies.

Propagation of Thunbergia: Thunbergia are sown in boxes in February and pricked out before planting in open ground. Young plants are planted out in late May - early June, when the risk of frost has passed, at a distance of 30 - 40 cm from each other. Seeds can be sown directly outdoors in May. Seeds retain viability for no more than two years.
Uses of Thunbergia: on trellises or ropes at walls, in pyramid shapes on flower beds, for creating floral fountains.
