Family Crassulaceae. Native range: Mexico.

Perennial herbaceous plants. From the rhizome arise annual shoots, at first erect and bare, later prostrate and sparsely branched, 10-20 cm long. Leaves on young shoots ovate, small, 0.5 cm long, imbricate, grayish-green; on reproductive shoots 0.6-1.2 cm long, imbricate, convex on both sides, light green. Flowers numbering 2-4 per flower stalk, 1 cm in diam., yellow. Blooms from February to May.
