Rubus caesius L.
Family Rosaceae. Native to Western Siberia, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. Grows in forests, ravines, shrub thickets, on clearings, and on riverbanks.
Shrubby climber, rising up to 1.5 m when support is available. Shoots are arching-spreading or ascending, with numerous prickles — straight or curved.
