Goose cinquefoil

Family Rosaceae . A widely distributed potentilla with pinnate, coarsely toothed leaves.

Blooms from May until autumn. Flowers are yellow. A very undemanding and hardy groundcover plant. Extremely tolerant of air pollution, it can grow along highways where almost no other plant grows. Grows both in full sun and in partial shade. Propagates by stolons and segments of rhizomes.
