Family Polygonaceae. A low (10-15 cm) bushy perennial plant with narrow elongated petiolate leaves gathered in basal rosettes.

Stems erect; small pink flowers form narrow inflorescences. Flowers in June-August. Instead of flowers, small bulbils sometimes appear in the inflorescence, by which the plant easily reproduces.
