Marsh bluegrass
Poa palustris L.
Family Poaceae. A perennial grass of the rhizomatous to loosely tufted type of growth. In the year of sowing growth and development are slow; it reaches full development in the second year; lifespan in the sward is 5-7 years. It tolerates mowing well, forming an elegant decorative turf.
