Ornamental perennial grass with attractive inflorescences. A compact clump up to 110-150 cm tall, erect, not always stable, late to appear. Leaves narrow, linear, green, erect, ochre-colored in autumn. Tiny inflorescences form attractive panicles. Flowers in August-September.
