Edible bomarea

Family Alstroemeriaceae. Description: This genus includes more than 100 species native to South America and consists of climbing plants with long, multi-meter stems.

This species can tolerate temperature drops down to -5°C. On shoots 2-3 m long, pink inflorescences form. On the inside the flowers have a green coloration with red spots.
