Lavender Banana

Family: Musaceae. Reaches 1.3 meters in height, the plant can flower at one year of age.

Bracts are pink, flowers bright yellow with a pleasant aroma. As the bracts open they gradually bend back, and then roll up into a tube. Fruits are velvety pink, with numerous seeds.
