The Vista Bella apple cultivar originates from New Jersey, USA, in cultivation since 1956, and was obtained by crossing the varieties Quinti and Julired. A vigorous and fast-growing tree. It reaches 3-5 m in height, crown width – 3-4 m. The crown is broadly ovoid, of medium density. Leaves are large, broadly ovate. Best pollinators – Papirovka, Quinti, James Grieve.

It bears fruit early, sometimes the first fruits appear the year after planting. Fruits are uniform in size, medium, 140-160 g, flattened-round in shape. Cover color – dark red over the entire surface, numerous subcutaneous dots. Skin is thin, slightly covered with a waxy bloom. Flesh is light creamy in color, juicy, tender, with an excellent sweet-tart flavor. Taste rating 4.4 - 4.6 points. Ripening period – very early, ripens in the second half of July, 5 days earlier than White Naliv. Fruits ripen unevenly. They keep in the refrigerator for several weeks.

Hardiness zone 3-9.

Location: the plant is light-loving, but can also grow in partial shade. Prefers fertile moist, well-drained soils. Soil pH 6.5 to 6.8. Poorly tolerates spring frosts. Protection from cold north winds is necessary. Optimal annual precipitation 600-800 mm.

Pruning: pruning is not recommended in the first years. Subsequently, formative pruning can be applied.

Diseases and pests: the variety is recommended to be treated for scab. Medium resistance to fire blight, rust, and black rot. Pests: aphids, red spider mite, bark beetle, codling moth.

Usage: eaten fresh, used for making jams, juices, preserves, and fruit leather.
