Back to catalogue

Family Primulaceae. Native to North America.

Perennial plant with erect stems 45 cm high. Leaves paired, wine-red, broadly lanceolate in shape. Small lemon-yellow flowers form at the ends of the stems and in the axils of the upper leaves, creating a loose inflorescence. Blooms in August–September. Requires a sunny position. Looks great against dark-gray boulders, complements the selection of plants for a red-silver garden, used in contrasting flower beds.
