A perennial rhizomatous herbaceous plant. Leaves numerous, rounded or oval, up to 25 cm across, unevenly toothed, green. Leaf petioles are pubescent. Flower heads light yellow, up to 5 cm in diameter, on branched flower stalks 40-50 cm long, gathered into corymb-like inflorescences.
