Appearance: upright shrub 1.5-2 m tall and wide, fast-growing.

Flowers: double, golden-yellow, May, with repeat flowering.

Fruits: inconspicuous.

Leaves: ovate-lanceolate, pointed, early-emerging, bright green, in autumn – yellowish-green.

Root system: shallow, wide, produces suckers up to 1.5 m away.

Requirements: sun/partial shade, in full sun the flowers fade, relatively winter-hardy, undemanding.

Soils: any, not very compact.

Note: to improve flowering, old shoots should be cut out.
