Family Cupressaceae. Native to Korea.

A broad shrub; branches are usually prostrate and ascending. A very rare tree, up to 9 m tall, with a loose habit; bark thin, reddish-brown, peeling in small flakes; branches compressed. Leaves on main branches triangular-ovate, elongated; on strongly flattened shoots rhombic-triangular, slightly green above with a distinct pore, white below.
