Wavy geogenanthus - Geogenanthus undatus - a perennial herbaceous plant about 40 cm tall. Stems reddish, leaves grouped at the ends of shoots in several per cluster. Leaves broadly ovate, on short petioles, about 8 cm long.
Temperature: Moderate, optimal in summer about 20-21°C. Winter minimum 16°C.
Light: Geogenanthus is light-loving, but requires shading from direct sunlight in spring and summer.
Watering: Abundant from spring to autumn - the soil should remain moist at all times; in winter watering is moderate - the soil should be slightly damp. For watering it is preferable to use warm soft water.
Fertilizer: From March to August feed with a fertilizer for indoor ornamental foliage plants every two weeks.
Air humidity: Geogenanthus likes very humid air, so leaves are regularly misted; the plant can be placed on a tray with wet pebbles or expanded clay.
