Appearance: a small shrub, 0.3-0.8 m high and wide, sometimes larger, upright, dense, sometimes stocky, green shoots without spines, medium- or fast-growing.
Flowers: in panicles, numerous yellow, June-August, remain on the plant for a long time.
Fruits: inconspicuous.
Leaves: small, simple, lanceolate-elliptic, green or dark green, do not develop autumn color.
Root system: deep, accumulates nitrogen, sensitive, not recommended to transplant after rooting.
Requirements: sun/partial shade, heat-loving, tolerates high temperatures, moderately winter-hardy and wind-resistant.
Soils: well-drained, relatively dry or fresh, acidic or slightly alkaline substrates.
Note: does not require pruning.
