Family: Geraniaceae. Plant from Western China, forming small tubers.

After flowering, the above-ground part dies back until the following spring. The red-pink flowers, 2-3 cm in diameter, have a green center. This species can be planted in rock gardens in a brightly lit spot with poor soil.
