Family: Geraniaceae. Originates from southwestern China.

This plant reaches about 20 cm in height and has root tubers. The leaves are deeply divided, light green in color, and bear yellow markings. The flowers, 2-5 cm in diameter, have pink petals and a white center. For successful growth the plant requires sunlight and well-drained soil. Under favorable conditions the geranium spreads rapidly.
