Leaves: when unfolding – yellow, in summer – yellow-green, branches with yellow bark.

Root system: deep, wide, sensitive to compaction.

Requirements: sun/partial shade, winter-hardy, tolerant of urban environments.

Soils: relatively dry or fresh, does not tolerate excess moisture, prefers fertile alkaline substrates.
