Family Araliaceae.This plant was developed by crossing Japanese Fatsia and common ivy. It was recognized as a separate species in France in 1910. Its growing conditions are more similar to those for Fatsia than for ivy.

Fatshedera Lizei - Fatshedera lizei - an evergreen climber. It has twining shoots that become woody over time and require support. Stem length can reach several meters. Leaves are palmately lobed, about 20-25cm in overall diameter. The leaf surface is leathery, dark green, in some cultivars with cream spots. Flowers are small, greenish-yellow, gathered in paniculate inflorescences.



Temperature: Moderate in summer, around 18-20°C, cool in winter - about 14-16°C, but not below 6 °C. In summer place outdoors, but protect from cold drafts.

Light: Bright diffused light - light partial shade. Protection from midday sun is necessary; direct sun in the morning or evening will not harm.

Watering: Abundant in spring and summer, in winter moderate and careful - depending on indoor temperature.

Fertilizer: From May to August Fatshedera is fed weekly with a complete fertilizer for ornamental foliage plants.
