Light-loving xeromesophyte. Vegetates from 11.V+9 to 16.X±7 for 157 days. Growth rate is average during the first 3 years. Does not flower. Winter hardiness low.

Roots 46% of cuttings when treated with a 0.01% solution of IMK. Ornamental.
