Eragrostis (a member of the grass family) is an annual branching plant 50–70 cm tall with large, spreading panicles of small spikelets on long thin stalks. The plant blooms in July. With regular removal of spent panicles it can flower until the first frosts. A very striking plant whose panicles resemble fountains of the finest sprays.

\r\nLocation: hardy, sun-loving, does not tolerate excess moisture in the soil.
