Family Kutrovykh. Native to the mountainous regions of Central and South America. About 40 species are found in the wild. It is more of a greenhouse than a houseplant.

Glossy dipladenia - Dipladenia splendens - an evergreen shrub grown as a trailing plant. Stems are initially pubescent, becoming glabrous with age. Leaves are opposite, oval in shape, pointed at the tip, on short petioles, up to 20 cm long, hairy along the veins on the underside. Flowers in groups of 5-6 are collected in racemose inflorescences. The five-petaled cup of the flower is bright pink, about 7-10 cm in diameter.

Dipladenia sanderi - Dipladenia sanderi - an evergreen vine. Leaves opposite, oval, pointed at the tip, on short petioles, about 5-7 cm long, glabrous. Flowers of 3-5 are gathered in axillary racemose inflorescences. The five-petaled cup of the flower is bright pink, yellow in the throat, about 8 cm in diameter.

Loose dipladenia - Dipladenia laxa - a deciduous vine that sheds its leaves for the winter in natural conditions. Long warty shoots with oblong-ovate leaves about 10 cm long. Leaves opposite, glabrous on the upper side, with slight pubescence along the veins on the underside. Flowers of 5-10 are gathered in racemose inflorescences. The corolla of the flower is white or cream, about 5 cm in diameter.
