Family: Mnogoryadnikovye. Name: named in honor of the mayor of Amsterdam Johann van Deitz.
Rare tropical plant. Able to tolerate significant shading. Easily propagated under indoor conditions.
Grows slowly. It is a fern with glossy, dissected dark-green fronds on brown-red petioles, up to 70 cm long. Each small leaflet is characteristically oval.
Temperature: in winter during dormancy keep at 14-16 °C.
Watering: plentiful throughout the summer with soft water and frequent misting; in winter watering is limited, without misting.
Feeding: only in summer, every 2 weeks apply an organic flower fertilizer or a liquid nutrient solution when using the hydroponic method.
Light: semi-shaded location.
Propagation: by spores.
