Appearance: shrub, 1-1.5 m high, 1.5 m wide, dense, pendulous.

Flowers: yellow, April-May, numerous.

Leaves: lanceolate, narrow, up to 2 cm long, light green.

Root system: superficial, accumulates nitrogen.

Requirements: sun, winter-hardy, tolerant in urban environments.

Soils: well-drained, sandy, acidic or neutral, sensitive to lime.
