Appearance: large asymmetrical shrub 6-7 m tall and wide, strictly upright, dense, medium growth rate, 20-25 cm per year.

Flowers: white corymbose inflorescences in May.

Fruits: decorative, rounded, scarlet, numerous, from September.

Leaves: broadly elliptic, glossy, dark green, yellow-red in autumn, attractive.

Root system: deep, wide, insensitive.

Requirements: sun/partial shade, winter-hardy, sensitive to wind, likes warmth and humidity, tolerant of urban conditions.

Soils: dry or fresh, neutral or alkaline, well-drained.

Note: very decorative plants.
