Appearance: small tree with a very broad, flat and dense crown, 5-6m tall, 3-5m wide, slow- or fast-growing.
Flowers: white, umbel-shaped inflorescences, after leaf emergence, May-June.
Fruits: rounded, attractive, scarlet, numerous, from September, persist on the plant for a long time.
Leaves: broad, elliptical, glossy, dark green, in autumn – orange-red.
Root system: unbranched, deep.
Requirements: easily adapts, undemanding, sun/partial shade, tolerant of urban conditions.
Soils: dry or moist, neutral or alkaline, well-drained.
Note: very decorative plants.
