Care: in spring you can feed with Kemira (100–150 g), scattering it around the root circle and then watering the plant abundantly. In April–May you can apply nitroammophoska (30–40 g).
Diseases and pests: the same as for Chamaecyparis pisifera
Uses: looks excellent as a solitary planting or in small groups in rock gardens, alpine gardens, and for intricate flowering compositions. Pairs well with Ledebour's almond and euonymus. Looks attractive with autumn asters or spring bergenias, with Perovskia, ajuga, lilac «Palibin», spirea «Little Princess», sumac, monarda and katran.
