Azineuma statice-leaved
Asyneuma limonifolium (L.) Janch.
Family Ranunculaceae. Alpine meadows and mountain slopes of Southeastern Europe and Asia.
Perennial 30–50 cm tall. Leaves mainly basal, from ovate to narrowly lanceolate. Flowers about 10 mm in diameter, gathered in a compact spike-like inflorescence, blue-violet. Blooms in summer.
Cultivated in a dry sunny location in calcium-rich, well-drained soil. In winter protection from moisture is necessary. Seeds are sown on the surface of the soil in winter, without covering. Seedlings appear over 1–3 months at 16–21°C. Can be divided in spring and autumn and propagated by cuttings in late spring.
