Family Asphodelaceae. Occurs on rocky slopes and screes in the lower mountain belt of the Pre-Caucasus and the Western and Southern Transcaucasia.

Plant up to 30 cm tall, flowers up to 2 cm in diameter, arranged in a loose raceme, yellow with a green stripe on the narrowly lanceolate perianth segments. Stem covered halfway with thin awl-shaped leaves with broad membranous sheaths, the margins of the leaves shortly pubescent. Blooms in late spring - early summer. A little-known species in cultivation.
