Back to catalogue

A cultivar of apricot of American breeding, of mid-early ripening period. Begins to bear fruit early, in the 3rd–4th year. Characterized by high and stable yields (up to 10 t/ha), winter hardiness, and disease resistance. The tree is of medium vigor, 4–5 m in height, with a rounded crown. Blooms late. Flowers are white, typical for apricot. The root system is well-branched, with the main part of the roots located at depths up to 60 cm. Leaves are simple, 10–12 cm long, green, ovate-rounded in shape. Fruits are of excellent marketable appearance, large, up to 200 g, of deep orange color with a beautiful raspberry blush. Flesh is very juicy, aromatic, with a good sweet-and-sour taste. The stone detaches well from the flesh. Fruits are suitable for transport and have good keeping quality.

Location: prefers sunny sites sheltered from cold winds. Grows well on light, well-drained (for water and air), and fertile soils with a neutral or slightly alkaline reaction.

Usage: the variety has a very good marketable appearance, storage life, and transportability. Fruits are consumed fresh and canned.
