Blue Sedge

Family Cyperaceae. Native to Eastern and Central Europe. An unusually variable perennial species, valued for its ability to grow on poor dry soils. Leaves are thin, evergreen, often bluish in color, up to 15 cm tall. A splendid groundcover for any substrates, especially dry and well-drained ones. Companion to Eremurus and Stipa.
