Variable-leaved ampelopsis

Family Vitaceae. Naturally occurs in Primorsky Krai, on Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands.

Very similar in appearance to short-peduncled ampelopsis, from which it differs by the rounded sinuses between the lobes and by the presence on a single plant of leaves varying in shape. This is a vigorous liana up to 8-9 m long. Used in vertical landscaping in the Far East. In cultivation since the 19th century.
