Slender bentgrass

Agrostis tenuis Sibth.

Back to catalogue

Bentgrasses spread slowly, but with regular mowing, intertwining their rhizomes with other turf grasses, they form a neat, dense turf cover. They have the highest tolerance to frequent mowing. Shoots and leaves are tender, bright green, thin, short, tapering toward the tip, giving a formal lawn a juicy green color and a silky texture.
