Adromischus(lat. Adromischus) is a genus of easily spreading leaf succulents in the family Crassulaceae. Adromischus are endemic plants of southern Africa. The name derives from the Ancient Greek "adros" ("thickness") and "mischos" ("stem"), apparently referring to rather thick leaves.

A small succulent subshrub about 15 cm tall. Stems initially erect, later pendent, densely covered with long reddish aerial roots. Leaves dark green, triangular, softly pubescent, wavy at the tip, 2-5 cm long, 2.5 cm wide, about 1 cm thick, with a petiole about 1 cm long. Flowers greenish-white, petal tips pink.

Poellnitz's Adromischus - Adromischus poellnitzianus Werderm.
A subshrub about 10 cm tall, branching from the base. Stems light green, 5-10 cm long, cylindrical below, gradually widening above into a broad flattened part with a wavy margin, covered with tiny sparse white hairs (pubescence visible only under a lens). Inflorescence about 40 cm long. Native to South Africa (Cape Province).

A weakly branching succulent subshrub up to 10 cm tall. Leaves rounded or slightly elongated, 4-5 cm long and 3-4 cm wide, dark green with red-brown spots on both sides. Flowers red-brown. Native to southern and southwestern Africa.

Slender Adromischus - Adromischus festivus C.A.Smith.
Stems short. Leaves fleshy, club-shaped, with a truncated wavy apex, gray-green with purple spots, about 3.5 cm long, 1 cm wide, 1.5-2 cm thick.

Location: Direct sunlight; temperature in summer 18-25 °C, in winter 10-15 °C. In summer, move outdoors to a sunny spot.

Watering: Summer — abundant; winter — limited. Avoid overwatering the soil and water stagnation in the leaf rosettes.

Humidity: Do not mist.

Repotting: If necessary in spring; good drainage.

Propagation: By leaf cuttings in spring.

Feeding: Spring–summer — once a month with cactus fertilizer; autumn–winter — no feeding.

Pests: Mealybug.
