Aconitum lycoctonum L.
Family: Ranunculaceae. In the wild it grows in southern Siberia and in Western Europe.
Rhizomatous perennial herbaceous plant of pyramidal or columnar form, 50-70 cm tall, 30-40 cm in diameter. Leaves on long petioles, deeply divided. Flowers yellow or whitish, arranged in raceme-like inflorescences. Blooms in July-August for 40-45 days. In cultivation since 1590.
