Kuznetsov's Aconite
Aconitum kusnezoffii Reichb.
Family Ranunculaceae. Native to the south of Eastern Siberia, northern and northeastern China.
The plant reaches 70–150 cm in height. Leaves are divided into three segments, dark green, leathery, with toothed margins, up to 14 cm long. Flowers are bright violet-blue, gathered in dense paniculate inflorescences. Flowers in August–September. Produces fruit. In cultivation since 1873.
