Family Ranunculaceae. Native to the southern Far East, northeast China.

White-violet aconite is a semi-prostrate, semi-climbing plant. Stems up to 250 cm long, densely leafy. Basal leaves on long petioles, large, divided into 5 broad lobes; stem leaves smaller, on short petioles. The whole plant is covered with short, yellow hairs. Flowers 1.5–2 cm in diameter, white-violet, gathered in small raceme-like inflorescences. Blooms in August–September for 50–60 days. Frost-hardy without shelter. Develops well only on rich soils in shaded locations.
