Ash-leaved Maple 'Odessanum'

Shrub, 3.5-4 m tall and 2-3 m wide; asymmetric rounded crown; fast-growing, 40-60 cm per year.

Flowers: Inconspicuous, dioecious.

Fruits: Not very attractive.

Leaves: Imparipinnate, 3-5 leaflets, bright yellow.

Root system: Shallow, slow-growing, relatively sensitive.

Requirements: Sun/partial shade; prone to frost damage in severe frosts; tolerant of urban conditions; a sheltered location should be chosen.

Soils: Undemanding; fresh, neutral.

Note: Responds well to pruning.
