Leaves: Smaller than the original species, dark green, leathery, bright yellow or yellowish-green in autumn.
Root system: Deep, dense; insensitive, slow-growing.
Requirements: Avoid dense shade; easily adapts, suitable for urban conditions, wind-resistant.
Soils: Does not like waterlogged, very acidic, or clay soils; relatively salt-tolerant.
Note: Not affected by powdery mildew.
