Family: Umbellifers. Occurs in the mountains of southern Western Europe.

A perennial herbaceous plant 80-90 cm tall. Leaves on long petioles are divided into three to seven segments. Flowers numerous, pink-white, gathered in an umbel-like inflorescence up to 3 cm in diameter. Blooms in July - August. In cultivation since 1686.
