Milky-flowered wormwood

Family Asteraceae. Native to western China. A perennial herbaceous plant up to 100 cm tall with reddish-brown stems and lacy dark green glossy leaves. The flower heads are small and white, gathered into dense raceme-like inflorescences. Flowers in August. Prefers moist peaty soils and a sunny position.
